Picking A Tampa Bar Mitzvah Photographer

An Event 13-Years in the Making

I’ll be honest.  I love Bar/Bat Mitzvahs.

I’m a family kind of guy.  We have two daughters and I was a stay-at-home Dad so for me, it’s all about family, and there is no event that is more family-oriented than a Bar/Bat Mitzvah.  I really get a kick out of being a small part of such a big event because I get to photograph families that have traveled across the country to come together for a weekend.  It just makes me smile.  :)

I photograph a lot of Bar/Bat Mitzvahs in the Tampa Bay area every year and have worked at most of the temples ( Schaarai Zedek, Rodelph Sholom, Ahavat Shalom,Temple Beth-El.. ) One of the advantages of using Booray Perry Photography for your Bar/Bat Mitzvah is that I know how everything works, what time to arrive, whatpictures you’ll need, etc… and the Rabbi’s all know me and are comfortable with me.  But that’s not the biggest advantage.

The biggest advantage to using Booray Perry Photography as your Tampa Bar Mitzvah photographer is that I’m an award-winning wedding photographer. I bring the same skills to your images that I bring to a wedding so you get creative, professional portrait and event photography.

The second advantage is that I offer so many products.  Professional custom albums, invitations, wall art and framing, an incredible Photo Guest Book and the best Photo Booth in town.  Instead of dealing with 3 or 4 vendors, you just have one, which makes your life easier.  If you are just getting started with your planning, you are about to discover the value of anything that makes your life easier when planning a Bar/Bat Mitzvah!

Finally, there’s the referrals.  Ask around the temple and you’ll find someone who has used me before.  If you’re reading this and have not already been referred to me by a friend you are rare.  Practically all my Bar/Bat Mitzvah’s come to me because they have been sent by a friend.  I’ve actually had clients book me without having met me because they have several friends who used me.

So, don’t wait because people book a year or more in advance in order to make sure they get their date.  Contact Booray Perry Photography today and we’ll schedule a consultation so you can get started!

It's been a rough year for Tampa Bar Mitzvahs. In 2020 I had an entire year cancel. Just like that I was out of the Bar Mitzvah Photography business. Oh sure, I did a few small events and a couple at homes but it was nothing compared to what I usually do every year....

Fuji Classic Chrome: The BEST Film Simulation?

https://www.youtube.com/embed/SPhGTGUSD1Q I'll be the first one to admit that I didn't pay much attention to the Fuji film simulations when I bought my first Fuji camera (Fuji X100S). I just assumed that these film simulations were just like filters that you would...

How to talk like a photographer

Fuji: What Does the DR Setting Do?

Almost all Fuji cameras have a DR Setting feature in the menu. The Fuji X100V and the X100F have it I know and I'm sure the Fuji X-T3 and X-T4 have it as well. The big question is: What does it do, how does it affect your images and when should you use it? In my...

How Sensor Size Affects Dynamic Range

One of the things that I love about photography is how deep the science goes. You can just set your camera to "auto" and press the button, or you can dive deep into what makes photography work and exist as an art form. My opinion on this is the same as my opinion on...
