Treasure Island Beach Wedding With A Twist
I photographed Shon and Danielle’s wedding this week in Treasure Island. Actually, it wasn’t a wedding but a 10-year re-commitment ceremony. They had their kids there and it was really sweet.
They did two things I have never seen before (which is rare after over 200 weddings). One was small and the other one… not so much. :)
First, the vows were printed on paper to look like old “pirate” parchment which was a nice touch:
And second, they had a huge sand sculpture!
Short Attention Span Dinner
I just wanted to let you know that if you are a client and you have ever been caught up in one of my long explanations to a simple question, imagine what it’s like to be my kids. :)
Yesterday, my daughter Samantha (10-years old) asked me, “Dad, is it better to have a few customers that spend a lot of money or a lot of customers that spend a little bit of money?”
“That’s a very good question!” I replied, “Let me see if I can explain…”
I then launched into a 10 minute lecture explaining the economies of scale, the effects of a recession on businesses that have few clients, the expected customer service differences between the two, etc, etc…
After about 10 minutes, I finally said, “This is boring you, isn’t it?”
“I really just wanted an answer to my question,” she said.
Tradewinds Wedding | John and Colleen
John and Colleen were married yesterday at The Tradewinds Island Grand Resort. We love the Tradewinds because we go there on vacation every year. Guess how John and Colleen met?
