Wedding at The Historic Don CeSar

Anyone who knows me knows that I love history and when it comes to historic wedding venue’s in Tampa/St. Petersburg there is none better than The Don CeSar.

Opened on January 16th, 1928, The Don CeSar (or as the locals call it, “The Don”) has had a checkered past, from playground of the rich and famous to veteran’s hospital during World War II. It was added to the National Registry of Historic places in 1975 and is currently run by the Loews Hotel chain.

Yesterday I photographed Matt and Kate’s wedding at The Don and despite a brief rain shower, everything went great.  I’ll have more pictures later but for right now here’s a shot of Matt and Kate on the beach in front of this fantastic, classic hotel!

The Year in Pictures | 2013

Just for fun today, I went through all my image folders from last year and grabbed one image for a collage. Each picture represents one job, be it a wedding, Bar Mitzvah, Portrait, Headshot, whatever. I tried to mix things up so there would be some variety and it turned out great!
