One of the great things about being a wedding photographer is when you get the opportunity to come back a few years later and photograph the first child.  It’s just wonderful to see my friends again and meet the newest member of the family.

Josh and Danielle were married in 2010 and I was asked to photograph there first-born, Adam.  I do my baby portraits in the family’s home. I used to do it in-studio but over the years I began to realize that I was limiting myself by using traditional studio backdrops, etc.  I spend most of my time shooting on location and I’ve developed a talent for doing just that… so why then move into a studio for baby pictures?  Not to mention making it easier on the parents because they don’t have to leave the house. :)
