I just got back from South Carolina recently after speaking at the South Carolina Photo Convention. David Junker saw me speak at Imaging USA in Nashville in 2015 and contacted me about coming to South Carolina for their state convention. After he mentioned that he listens to my podcast, I said, “Why don’t you bring Gary up too? He can teach a class as well and we can also do a live podcast!” David was all for it so we brought all the gear and did a live Photobomb Podcast.
We had a great weekend in Charleston. I didn’t get to see as much of the city as I would have liked. I’m a Civil War guy so being in the town where it all started was very cool. I’m going to try and plan a family trip there at a later date.
By the way, there’s no need to ask for sweet tea at Wendy’s in Charelston. They only serve sweet tea. Gotta love the south.
My program was about weddings and the things that a new photographer needs to do to become good. Everyone was great at my class and it went well. I’ve taught this program probably 15 times but you still get a little nervous every time.
I’ll be in Massachusetts in the fall to teach some more!
Thank you Kelly Lucas Photography for the picture!
